The House

Perched 500 meters above sea level in the beautiful hills around Viterbo, among ancient beech trees and impenetrable woods, BERTARELLO dominates the hill and scrutinize the plain all the way to the sea. Originally built as an ancient watchtower at the end of the 18th century, it was later tuned into a barn and then abandoned for years until we chose it as our home.

It encloses years of a passion for antiques and memories of distant lands. Each room tells its own story, fascinating, intriguing and engaging.

A lengthy and careful conservative restoration has returned BERTARELLO to its previous glory. All the materials used were original wherever possible allowing the house to retain its atmosphere and its charm.

Whether for a holiday or for a business trip, our goal is to treat you to a unique and unforgettable experience. BERTARELLO is the perfect place to relax in the pristine Latium countryside without giving up any of your comforts.
